Farmers Insurance District Office in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a confident, experienced Sales Manager to lead the development and success of an agency while promoting our products and delivering exceptional customer service. • Proven track record of results in insurance sales, agency management, or a related industry.
• Strong leadership and coaching ability: you attract and develop talent with our support.
• Comfortable using data/analytics in decision-making.
• Must initially pass a background check and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
