Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. Milford, UT is seeking a Production Manager Trainee to learn and master farm department operations and company systems.

You will progress through certifications, perform hourly tasks under supervision, and contribute to reports and process improvements while complying with environmental, safety and biosecurity policies. Relocation required for training and leadership role may be reassigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field required or enrollment with anticipated graduation.
• Able to lead others and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Learns and becomes certified in all farm department areas and company systems.
• Performs hourly tasks under supervision while progressing through leadership training.
• Develops reports on experiences and opportunities for improvement.
• Complies with environmental, IPS, biosecurity and EMS policies.
• Acts as acting HOD when needed and is available for emergencies.
