Job summary

This full-time role requires 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license; weekend/on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant mechanical/maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related field preferred.
• Good mechanical skills including repair of gearboxes and bearings.
• Knowledge of AC/DC controls and power electricity.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
• Basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills.
• Basic computer skills and customer service mindset.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on farm equipment.
• Identify parts needed for projects and maintain inventory.
• Troubleshoot and repair potable water, ventilation, and related systems.
• Repair farm equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, piping systems and facility components.
• Perform general mechanical work including installation, fabrication, and repair.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and company policies.
• Wear required PPE and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Receive work orders and follow supervisor instructions.
• Maintain building plumbing/electrical systems and replace defective parts.
• Maintain facility parts inventory and assist other departments as needed.
• Occasional weekend and on-call duties.
