The State of West Virginia is seeking a TANF and economic service eligibility worker to operate at the full-performance level, determining client eligibility and guiding participants toward self-sufficiency through a range of department and community programs.

You will complete assessments, interview applicants, and direct employment goals based on aptitude results. A valid driver’s license and transportation for required travel are required to perform in this role.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsabilidades

• Determine eligibility for TANF and economic service programs accurately and efficiently.
• Assist clients in becoming self-sufficient via department services and community programs.
• Complete assessments and activity placements.
• Process applications and conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews within program requirements.
• Analyze aptitude test results to direct employment goals for applicants.
• Make referrals to appropriate agencies when necessary.
• Adhere to policies outlined by the Office of Family Assistance.
