Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area seeks a Guest Services Associate to oversee the daily operations of the 123-room facility at Stanford, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for families, staff, and volunteers. The role includes front desk duties, phone handling, and coordinating with Team Volunteers within a semi-medical setting.

The GSA will work on a 5-shift weekly schedule for full-time staff or 1–3 shifts weekly for part-time staff, with some holidays and weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of customer services experience.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer inquiries at front desk.
• Answer and transfer phone calls and process packages.
• Register Day Pass families and provide tours and resources.
• Maintain a clean and safe lobby, kitchen, laundry rooms, and dining areas.
• Log maintenance and respond to family needs and emergencies.
• Coordinate with Team Volunteers and other staff to support families.
