Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay seeks a part-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment for families with children in treatment. You will assist with guest rooms, common areas, and laundry, while ensuring compassionate service and adherence to hospital requirements.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4–9pm, with a 25-hour weekly commitment and opportunities to participate in growth and training

Qualifications

• Relevant housekeeping experience required.
• Able to work independently and within a team to achieve tasks.
• Bilingual preferred, but must have the ability to speak and understand English fluently.
• Must meet healthcare requirements of partner hospital, complete CPR and annual fire alarm training.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms and shared spaces; sanitize surfaces, spot mop, and reset materials to standards; clean kitchen and laundry appliances, and assist with linen laundering.
• Interact with families to assess needs, provide support, and guide them on using kitchen, laundry, and common area appliances.
• Stock self-serve meal areas and keep them tidy; participate in house operations and attend quarterly team meetings.
• Support a compassionate, welcoming, and safe space for families undergoing pediatric treatment.
