Job summary

United Way of Summit & Medina is seeking a Coordinator to assist designated schools in Akron, developing wraparound supports that address non-academic barriers to learning. The role unites educators, partners and families to provide health, enrichment, and social services, driving outcomes through data-driven collaboration.

You will liaison with school leaders and community partners, manage records, and participate in regular supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with school administrators, staff, students, families and community partners to plan wraparound services addressing non-academic barriers.
• Collaborate with school personnel, service providers and partners to document, monitor and assess wraparound services; manage referrals and data.
• Use data and outcomes to inform decisions and continuous improvement with partners and families.
• Collect and track records of family engagements and events for 200–1000 student families.
• Act as liaison between school, UWSM staff, community agencies, and external partners; maintain service coordination records.
