Job summary

The Centers in Cleveland Heights seeks a dedicated service coordinator to connect families with the Heights Suburban Collaborative program and community resources. You will collaborate with DCFS and other agencies to support fragile families and promote stability.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor degree in human services, can work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and have knowledge of child welfare reporting and family dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in human services or related field required/preferred.
• Must be available for evenings and weekends.
• Must have knowledge of child abuse reporting requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio.
• Background check with fingerprints must show no record of child abuse or moral turpitude.

Responsibilities

• Link families to The Centers Integrated service model and community resources.
• Provide front desk and reception duties for Heights Suburban Collaborative program.
• Support Foster Care Cluster as mandated in the contract deliverable.
• Maintain and organize supplies and program-related purchases.
• Coordinate Family and Children First Council Referral and Application process.
• Provide direct service support to Monthly Collaborative meetings as mandated.
• Establish relationships with local agencies and community orgs.
• Identify and support foster/adoptive parents for licensure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
