Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services is seeking a Resource Navigator to support families by delivering quality services, completing intake, and coordinating resources. This role emphasizes professional judgment, adherence to program standards, and meaningful engagement with the service population.

The position entails coordinating with team members, maintaining records in Salesforce and PEIRS, and participating in regular trainings and community education initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• With a high school diploma, at least 3 years of related work experience; with a bachelor’s, at least 1 year.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid Texas Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens; background checks.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and recruitment of participants for Family Resource Center activities.
• Establish and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with families by providing regular contact.
• Administer intake, assessments, and screening tools to clients and family members.
• Utilize intake and assessment results to set and implement goals with parents.
• Provide intensive case management services to families.
• Coordinate services, resources, referrals, and transportation for families on caseload.
• Record all services and activities in PEIRS (DFPS) and Salesforce (BCFS).
• Meet with supervisor bi-weekly to review status of families on caseload.

Education
