Job summary

Delaware County, OH is seeking a Family Recovery Coordinator to support the FCFC in coordinating services for multi-need children and their families. This grant-funded two-year position reports to the FCFC Administrator and aims to create a community vision and improve services.

The role covers Council Management Support and FCSS Case Management, with responsibilities including meetings, collaboration with local agencies, and service coordination for families in Delaware County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in social work, working with families affected by substance abuse, or related field preferred.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on county business as a continued condition of employment. All required licenses and certificates must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the FCFC Coordinator in planning, development, evaluation, organization, and collaboration of Delaware County Family & Children First Council.
• Provide support for Council meetings, including maintaining minutes and records of those meetings.
• Participate in the work of multiple Council committees and their implementation of Council’s goals and objectives.
• Work with Delaware County organizations to assess the needs of Delaware County children and their families; plan funding sources, services, and community collaboration.
• Represent Delaware County at local and state meetings or on councils/boards relating to children and families; assist with service provider contracts for FCSS clients.
• Review referrals from community sources; schedule appointments, interview families, and create measurable family plans.
• Direct collaboration of services with Delaware County agencies; monitor progress and adjust plans; report status to involved agencies.
• Create Service Coordination meetings with fellow agencies as needed; act as key contact; refer clients to resources.
• Demonstrate regular attendance; attend trainings; perform typing and related computer tasks; work overtime as required.
