Job summary

CommuniCare Inc. seeks an experienced SAFE Family Recovery Program Supervisor in New Haven, CT to lead a dedicated team supporting families involved with DCF.

You will oversee referrals, intake, assessment, case management, and staff development, ensuring services meet contract standards and drive positive outcomes. The role requires a Master’s in behavioral health with CT licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC), at least three years of clinical and recovery experience, and strong leadership and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field with active Connecticut licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• At least three years of experience providing clinical and recovery support services.
• Supervisory, leadership, or program oversight experience in behavioral health, substance use, family services, or related settings.
• Experience with culturally diverse populations and collaborating with community partners.
• Strong organizational, communication, conflict resolution, and project management skills.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the community as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the SAFE Family Recovery Program and ensure services are delivered per standards and contracts.
• Oversee referral, intake, assessment, and case management processes for timely support.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management to program staff and support certification requirements.
• Monitor documentation, reporting, and compliance including data entry and QA.
• Serve as liaison with DCF, courts, partners, and stakeholders to support outcomes.
