The role involves sharing lived experience, coaching families, and assisting them in accessing recovery-focused services while delivering in-home crisis stabilization and navigating crisis response systems. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field or equivalent experience.
• Living or working in Brockton catchment area.
• Minimum 1 year experience navigating child-and-family serving systems.
• Lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a youth with behavioral health needs.
• Willingness to complete CPS training if not already.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and social support to families of youth with behavioral health needs.
• Share lived experience and use coaching and mentoring.
• Support families in making positive life changes and developing recovery skills.
• Deliver in-home crisis stabilization and guide families through crisis response systems.
• Assist families in connecting to treatment and community resources.
• Document progress and maintain billing and schedules.
