The role requires lived experience and strong communication, with duties including in-home crisis stabilization, coaching, and connecting families to recovery resources.

Education ranges from a HS diploma to a Bachelor's in human services, with pay range $45,760–$54,080 depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs or mental health needs.
• Experience navigating child-and-family serving systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Understanding of confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA requirements.
• Lived experience as a parent/caregiver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and social support to families of youth with behavioral health needs.
• Share lived experience and use coaching and mentoring.
• Support families in making positive life changes and developing recovery skills.
• Deliver in-home crisis stabilization and navigation support.
• Document progress and complete required billing and scheduling records.
• Build recovery links to treatment, peer support, and community services.
