Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our healthcare team in Hazel Green, AL.

With 9 locations across North Alabama, Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, a leading provider of urgent and family care in the Southeast. We offer quality, affordable healthcare services including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week and are accredited by the Urgent Care Association for safety and quality standards.

Job Summary

As a Provider, you will deliver exceptional medical care to patients of all ages, managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with a healthcare team, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients. Our full-time providers work rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including 12-hour weekday shifts and alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Provide friendly, accessible patient care for all who seek services.
  • Lead during emergencies, maintaining a reassuring presence.
  • Perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups, including primary and urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation.
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage.
  • Monitor and establish appropriate care levels for patients.
  • Support onsite labs, x-rays, and collections, if applicable.
  • Maintain clinical competency and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Participate in policy development, staff education, and service growth initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at meetings and community events.
  • Guide and support other medical staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of provider experience.
  • State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
  • Certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
  • DEA license or willingness to obtain.
  • DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
  • BLS certification.
