Join our team as a Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant at Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care.

Location: Hazel Green, AL

About Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care: With 9 locations across North Alabama, affiliated with Urgent Team, we provide quality, affordable family healthcare, including treatments for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness. Our centers are open daily with accredited care standards.

Position Overview: As a provider, you will deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages, diagnosing, treating, and educating on various medical conditions. Full-time schedule involves rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including weekday shifts and every-other weekend.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Providing comprehensive urgent and primary care.
• Leading during emergencies with a calming presence.
• Performing assessments, treatments, procedures (e.g., laceration repairs, injections, splinting), and follow-ups.
• Managing on-site labs, x-rays, and collections.
• Maintaining clinical competencies and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Participating in staff education and development initiatives.
• Supporting clinic growth and service development.
• Representing the clinic at various meetings and events.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of provider experience.
• State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
• Certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
• DOT certification (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS certification.
