Join our team as a Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant at Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care through Urgent Team.

Location: Centers in Muscle Shoals, Florence, Decatur, and Cullman, Alabama.

About Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care: With nine locations in Alabama, affiliated with Urgent Team, we provide quality, affordable urgent and family healthcare. Our centers are open daily with extended hours and are accredited for safety and quality.

Job Summary:

Provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages, diagnosing, treating, and educating on various conditions. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling for PRN shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Lead and assist during emergencies, maintaining a calming presence.
• Perform assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for a variety of medical conditions, including urgent care, occupational health, and primary care.
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, and abscess drainage.
• Oversee onsite labs, x-rays, and collections as applicable.
• Maintain clinical competency and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Participate in policy development, education programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support clinic growth and represent the organization externally.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of provider experience.
• State license as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
• Certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA.
