The Arizona Department of Child Safety is hiring for a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to serve Show Low and Winslow, AZ. The role requires on-site work, responding to child abuse or neglect, and coordinating family services with courts and partner agencies.

Candidates must have a relevant degree or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain clearance. Training and pay progression are provided through the CORE program.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree earned from an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (conferred transcripts) or 4 years as an Arizona DCS Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Complete the 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training program.

Aufgaben

• Work full-time, 40 hours a week on-site; alternative hours may be required.
• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and community settings.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
