Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Ambassador to be the first friendly face for families visiting the facility. You will greet visitors, guide them through the building, and assist with locating destinations while ensuring safety and empathy at every step.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, including conflict management.
• Understanding of developmental needs across neonatal to adult ages.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• CVP and composure in stressful situations; ability to diffuse negativity.
• Critical thinking to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual abilities preferred; CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcome with warmth and empathy to visitors and families.
• Guide guests according to visitation guidelines and help them navigate the facility.
• Support families by determining destinations and transportation needs.
• Provide internal patient transport that is safe and engaging.
• Stock and move wheelchairs, strollers, and carts to keep the facility accessible.
