Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Children’s Ambassador to welcome families and create a safe, supportive, and uplifting experience. You will greet visitors warmly, guide them through the facility, and assist with their needs, contributing to a positive first impression for every family.

The role involves screening guests, helping with navigation, transporting patients when needed, and supporting accessibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Understanding of developmental needs across all ages from neonatal to adult.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• Confidence and composure in stressful situations; ability to diffuse negativity.
• Critical thinking to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual abilities preferred; CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with warmth and empathy, setting a positive first impression.
• Screen and guide guests according to visitation guidelines and assist navigation within the facility.
• Determine destinations and transportation needs to support families.
• Provide internal patient transport that is safe and engaging.
