Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 48 college credits or an Associate degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with diverse families in urban settings and knowledge of their needs.

Responsibilities

• Promotes family and student engagement within the district and community.
• Develops an individual work plan with measurable deliverables.
• Responds empathetically to concerns raised by parents/guardians and follows through to resolution.
• Refers families to internal or external supports to meet student needs.
• Coordinates outreach to families around registration and transportation.
