Outreach Works in Scranton, PA is seeking a Family Engagement Team Lead to support youth involved in child welfare services. The role oversees Family Group Decision Making Conferences and related processes, ensuring fidelity and safeguarding outcomes.

You will supervise staff, train new team members, and coordinate with multiple departments to align programs. A strong focus on data reporting and collaboration with community partners is essential.

Competenze

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in social work, human development, psychology, early childhood education, or similar from an accredited university.
• Experience with at-risk populations and openness to working with diverse cultures and families facing economic challenges are a must.
• Mandatory training/certification is provided.

• Provide direct supervision to the assigned team, including approval of time off requests, timesheets, and performance tasks.
• Train and acclimate new staff to organizational and program expectations.
• Facilitate critical thinking and solutions-focused problem-solving within the team.
• Focus on achieving team objectives, managing program assets, and ensuring duty clarity.
• Coordinate with Program Manager/Director and other departments for alignment.
• Oversee data collection in reporting systems to prepare monthly/quarterly reports with attention to detail.
• Maintain an ongoing caseload of up to five family engagement referrals at a time.
• Manage program referrals to sustain full caseloads and fidelity of delivery.
• Collaborate with community partners to link families to resources.
• Participate in community boards and cultivate relationships with partners and funders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
