Job summary

Upbring is seeking a Family Engagement Advocate to create, provide, and coordinate services with families and communities to foster strength and well-being. You will assist in Social Services, Health, Nutrition, Mental Health, and Parent Engagement, offering referrals and crisis support to families while honoring their values and culture.

The role involves home visits, collaboration with staff and community partners, and ensuring PIR data accuracy in the data management system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Social Services or related field.
• Willing to obtain Family Development Credential within 12 months of hire.
• 1 year of Early Head Start/Head Start experience or related service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain funded enrollment levels per Head Start standards and Upbring policies.
• Provide parent orientation for enrollment in Head Start or Early Head Start.
• Perform ERSEA duties with monitoring and compliance.
• Provide case management and referrals to connect families with services.
• Support child health care follow-up and EPSDT requirements.
• Conduct home visits and follow-ups on parenting and development.
