Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development seeks a Family Advocate to recruit and enroll children, assess family needs, and collaborate on engagement outcomes. You will work with staff to address needs through interventions, referrals, and follow-up support to promote family well‑being and school readiness.

The role emphasizes trauma‑informed practice, partnership with families, and facilitating participation in Parent Groups and trainings. Strong communication and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with diverse families and staff.
• Knowledge of child development and family services preferred.
• Ability to manage records and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program in compliance with guidelines.
• Conduct at least four family visits per year, two at the home.
• Foster positive parent-child relationships and connect to community resources.
• Maintain health records and data in ChildPlus, including goals and notes.
• Support family engagement activities and parent leadership efforts.
