Job summary

STRiVE seeks an EI Service Coordinator to support 0-3 year olds with developmental delays. The role coordinates services, develops IFSPs, and oversees progress while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Driving to client homes and community sites is required. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human-services field or five years of related experience, plus CPR for children, a valid driver’s license, and successful background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience in EI/Developmental Disabilities.
• Knowledge of typical child development preferred.
• Completion of CORE Classes and EI Fundamentals Training.
• After training, meet EI Colorado Service Coordinator Competencies.
• CPR for children, valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle required.
• Background checks and references as per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for children and families; coordinate services with providers and agencies.
• Develop IFSPs for assigned children and monitor progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate transitions within the DD system or discharge from EI services.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely billing in data systems.
• Assist families with assistive technology and device adaptations.
• Maintain knowledge of STRIVE policies and licensing standards.
• Participate in in-service training and provide training when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
