Job summary

STRiVE is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Early Intervention Program serving children aged 0–3. This part-time role involves assessments, therapy and family coaching in home and community settings, with a pathway to increased hours over time.

Responsibilities include data collection, reporting, IFSP participation and collaboration with families and professionals. A CO license, CPR for children, and driver’s license are required, along with background checks and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Regulatory compliance with Colorado DORA licensing requirements.
• CPR certification for children.
• CPD: 24 hours per renewal period.
• Two years’ experience with special needs children under age 3 preferred.
• Successful completion of State Provider Training.
• Background screening and references per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts therapeutic sessions and coaching to families and caregivers.
• Performs developmental assessments and writes reports.
• Collaborates with families, program teams and health professionals.
• Maintains data systems for timely billing and progress notes.
• Provides written progress reports and participates in IFSP meetings.
• Ensures safety of clients, families and staff in work environments.
• Keeps knowledge of STRiVE policies and licensing standards.
