Job summary

NLACRC, a private nonprofit contracted by the State of California, seeks a Service Coordinator for the San Fernando Valley, focusing on school-age clients in the Russian program. The role involves coordinating services, advocating for individuals and families, and working with an interdisciplinary team in diverse settings.

You will meet with families in homes and communities, require a CA driver's license, and may need bilingual Spanish depending on the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field and at least two years of related experience; master's degree may substitute.
• Understanding of family systems and person-centered planning with empathy and respect.
• Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities; strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Participate in development and evaluation of individual program plans.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families; document in NLACRC systems.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies; attend interdisciplinary meetings.
