Job summary

Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health, is seeking a Clinical Access Specialist to be the first clinical contact for children, youth and families seeking intensive behavioral health services. You will determine eligibility and facilitate access using clinical tools in home and community settings.

Based out of FBH Northend, Tacoma, the role requires flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed, with supervision and strong collaboration across a multidisciplinary team to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of clinical experience with children and families.
• Clinical knowledge of DSM criteria.
• Certification/competency in clinical assessment processes (CANS, CALOCUS).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with children, youth and families in homes or community settings to gather information and assess service needs.
• Complete behavioral health assessment tools (e.g., CANS).
• Verify Medicaid eligibility and coordinate access to services.
• Track referrals and enter data into Electronic Health Records.
• Provide ongoing clinical supervision support and referrals as needed.
