Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist (Clinical Care Coordinator) in Tacoma to work in homes, community, and office settings across Pierce County. The role emphasizes wrap-around mental health services to children, youth and families, with on-call rotation and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, experience with children/families, and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent.
• Experience serving children and/or families in mental health or social services.
• Culturally competent service delivery and collaboration with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Meet and engage families with compassion, respect and enthusiasm.
• Provide crisis response and stabilization planning with families.
• Prepare families for next steps in intervention and team planning.
• Deliver intensive, strength-based therapeutic mental health services in home/community settings.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team; maintain thorough, strength-based documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation; facilitate plans for aftercare supports.
