Job summary

Catholic Community Services (FBH Northend, Tacoma) seeks a Clinical Access Specialist to determine eligibility and facilitate access to intensive behavioral health services for children and families in home and community settings. You will perform clinical assessments and coordinate with Medicaid and funders, ensuring timely access and proper documentation.

This role requires flexibility to meet families after hours, strong engagement skills, and experience with EHR and behavioral health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or equivalent.
• 2+ years clinical experience with children and families.
• Knowledge of DSM criteria and clinical assessment practices.
• Eligibility for Agency Affiliated License within one month of employment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first clinical contact for referrals and access.
• Determine eligibility and facilitate access to intensive behavioral health services.
• Complete clinical assessments and use tools like CANS.
• Coordinate with clinical managers and funders for approvals.
• Maintain Medicaid eligibility verification and documentation
