Job summary

Catholic Community Services, Family Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist (Clinical Care Coordinator) to join our team serving Pierce County youth and families in homes, community sites, and at our Tacoma office.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, experience with children and families, and a flexible schedule with on-call rotation. We offer relocation assistance, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent, accredited degree.
• Experience serving children and/or families in mental health, social services or education.
• Ability to work flexibly in home and community settings with diverse families.
• Commitment to culturally competent, strength-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support families with compassion, respect and enthusiasm.
• Provide crisis response and stabilization services and safety planning.
• Prepare families for next steps, team development and natural supports.
• Deliver intensive mental health services including assessment, treatment planning and crisis planning.
• Facilitate family team meetings and coordinate services in community and home settings.
• Maintain productive documentation and collaborate with supervisors.
