Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Family Based Therapist (FBT) to join a multidisciplinary team delivering ESFT-based services to children, adolescents, and families in home and community settings. The role includes therapy, parent coaching, and crisis intervention with flexible hours.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or graduate degree in a human services field, has at least two years in a CASSP program with direct service to youth, and a Pennsylvania driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation or a graduate degree in the field of human services.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a CASSP program, experience must be with children and adolescents and include direct service.
• Experience facilitating family therapy and/or crisis intervention, de-escalation is preferred.
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and access to reliable transportation is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Family Based Therapist (FBT) works with families to provide treatment services including therapy and counseling for children and families.
• FBT travels to client homes and community resources, providing home-based ESFT services.
• Therapists facilitate individual and family therapy, parent coaching, and crisis intervention as part of a time‑limited intensive program.
• Works in collaboration with a case manager as part of an interdisciplinary team and undergoes ESFT training and supervision.
