Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Family Based Therapist (FBT) in Kennett Square, PA to provide ESFT-based therapy to children and families in the Chester County area. The role includes visiting client homes and community settings, offering parent coaching, and delivering time-limited intensive services with an interdisciplinary team.

Requires a Master's degree in a human services field, 2+ years in CASSP with youth, and a PA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a CASSP program with children and adolescents.
• Experience facilitating family therapy and/or crisis intervention; de-escalation skills preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family and individual therapy sessions and parent coaching.
• Crisis intervention and ESFT-based interventions for children and families.
• Collaborate with a case manager as part of an interdisciplinary team; coordinate services and supports; travel to client homes and community resources.
