Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is hiring a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health program. This is a full-time, community-based role providing intensive therapy to children, adolescents, and families with complex needs.

We use the ESFT model and offer comprehensive employer-paid training leading to certification, plus free supervision for licensure and weekly supervision to support clinical growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in human services such as counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education, rehabilitation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Volunteer and internship experience count toward experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to transport clients in your own car.
• Ability to provide services in locations including home, school, and community.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and develop effective behavioral strategies for their children.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to provide services to up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision, including group and team supervision, for clinical support and growth.
• Receive on-call crisis consultation and participate in a rotating on-call schedule when needed.
