Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. seeks a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to deliver intensive, community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families through a Family Based Mental Health program.

The role uses the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model and provides comprehensive employer-paid training toward certification, with supervision and ongoing clinical development to support licensure and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a human services field (counseling, psychology, social work, etc.).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record and ability to transport clients in own car.
• Ability to provide services in home, school, and community locations.
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work with parents and caregivers to strengthen relationships and develop behavioral strategies for children.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Collaborate with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to serve up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision and group/team supervision for clinical support and growth.
• Take part in on-call crisis consultation and rotating on-call schedule.
