Job summary

The Community Group in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Family Access and Placement Specialist. This full-time role connects eligible families with child care opportunities, maintains vacancy trackers, and supports enrollment workflows across programs. The position requires bilingual English/Spanish skills and a High School Diploma, with Associate’s preferred.

Excellent computer skills and teamwork are essential. Salary range $55,000–$65,000 with benefits included, reporting to the Program Enrollment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Associate’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in enrollment, family services, customer service, case coordination, recruitment, child care administration, or related high-volume service environment.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile agency-wide vacancy tracker for open, anticipated, and pending seats by program site and age group.
• Search and match eligible families using the state waitlist per EEC guidelines; document outcomes and coordinate placements.
• Manage benefit offers lifecycle, deadlines, acceptance/decline, and enrollment communications.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to route walk-ins, referrals and inquiries to the correct pathways.
• Assist with front desk support, walk-ins, and program team communications.
