Job summary

Greater Lawrence Community Action Council in Lawrence, MA is hiring a Parent-Child+ Early Learning Specialist to manage a caseload of 12 families in the Home Visiting Program. The role involves conducting Home Visits, delivering toys and books, and modeling early education components for parents.

You will connect families to resources, make referrals, complete ASQ assessments, and maintain case records. The position requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Education, Human Services, or related field.
• Must have valid driver's license and access to transportation.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality in accordance with policy and laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required to serve communities.
• Must pass CORI, SORI, and DCF background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to families in the caseload twice weekly to enhance literacy.
• Administer ASQ assessments and conduct family intake assessments.
• Complete reports and maintain case documentation.
• Provide resources and support outreach and recruitment efforts.
• Attend weekly PCPLUS staff meetings and ENGAGE trainings as needed.
• Develop collaborative relationships with communities served.
• Participate in community outreach through playgroups, story times, and events.
