Drake State Community and Technical College seeks a FAME Data Coordinator to collaborate with the FAME Project Management and Instructor to implement data collection, participant tracking, data analysis and reporting for grant activities.

You will manage day-to-day data entry, ensure accuracy and compliance with policies protecting personal information, develop required forms and reports, and coordinate with the software vendor on database maintenance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college.
• Minimum of one year of experience in data collection, research, tracking, analyzing, documenting, and/or presenting data.
• Knowledge of research processes, including data collection, analysis, and use of computer hardware and software pertinent to institutional research.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications (Excel, Word, data entry tool, etc).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to complex situations.
• Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and ease in relating to people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Must meet all employability requirements of the College.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours, including evenings or weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Work with grant staff to develop workflow, data entry and collection, and reporting policies and procedures.
• Analyze data to provide updates and facilitate decision making on grant objectives.
• Monitor performance and develop reports for staff review and planning.
• Conduct data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered and tracked.
• Research and resolve data and reporting inconsistencies to ensure quality control and grant compliance.
• Maintain records (electronic and/or hardcopy) per grant terms and retention policies.
• Develop forms and documents to obtain required data elements from participants and stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for software vendor regarding database maintenance and services.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting requests; design reports to meet needs.
• Ensure timely collection and reporting of participant data (enrollment, outcomes, etc).
• Collaborate with staff on workplans and timelines to maximize data system utilization.
• Retain and submit documentation to support grant implementation and accreditation.
• Serve on college committees as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Fame Program Manager, Dean, or President.
