Job summary

Shelby County Schools is seeking a Fall Break Learning Academy site supervisor to manage day‑to‑day operations at the fall school site. You will ensure safety, implement behavior expectations, and communicate with staff, students and parents.

You will collaborate with host school administration on facilities use, handle opening/closing procedures, supervise staff and ensure timely submission of state and district documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or closely related field; eight years total relevant experience including teaching or training; active SCS Assistant Principal in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day to day operations of the fall school site.
• Communicates behavior expectations and consequences to staff, students and parents.
• Oversees opening and closing of fall school sites and ensures compliance with state and district policies.
• Monitors staff, attendance, grades submission and student enrollment to ensure smooth operation.
• Coordinates with host school administration on facilities use and resources; maintains safety and security protocols.
