Wintrust Financial Corporation seeks a Compliance Officer – Fair and Responsible Banking to support fair lending and UDAAP oversight, performing targeted testing and file reviews for consumer, small business, and mortgage products.

The role supports the VP in implementing programs, analyzing monitoring results, advising on corrective actions, and training teams. Bachelor’s degree preferred; CRCM experience favored.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience related to financial services compliance.
• Fair lending or UDAAP compliance experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fair lending comparative file reviews and other targeted fair banking risk reviews for consumer, small business and/or mortgage products.
• Assist the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking in providing subject matter expertise to both the compliance team and business lines regarding fair lending and UDAAP risk related to comparative file review results.
• Advise as needed regarding required corrective action and assist with training.
• Assist the team in analyzing compliance and business line monitoring results to identify factors contributing to elevated risk and needed improvements.
