Everforth Apex seeks a Mechanical Engineer III for on-site work in Seattle, WA. The role centers on failure analysis, SOP development, and advanced materials characterization.

You will support prototype analyses and contribute to design and manufacturing improvements through rigorous testing and documentation. The position requires an AS degree with 2 years of related experience; a BS in materials science is preferred.

Competenze

• Associate degree in laboratory technology, electron microscopy, x-ray analysis or related field.
• 2 years of related work experience in bulk materials or electronics cross sections.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support for materials and failure analysis investigations.
• Develop and execute SOPs for sample preparation and physical/chemical characterization.
• Perform optical inspection and measurements.
• Conduct mechanical cross-sectioning and sample preparation.
• Utilize 2D and CT X-ray inspection methods.
• Execute materials testing, including thermal-mechanical and environmental testing.
• Maintain lab equipment and write SOPs and lab reports.
