Job summary

Santa Fe College is seeking an Academic Technology Specialist to train and support faculty in using learning management systems and related technologies to boost student engagement, accessibility, and success.

The role includes delivering workshops, developing courses, and analyzing outcomes to drive improvements, with a deadline-driven environment and collaboration with the eLearning Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field with two years of relevant experience with LMS or related software, or 6 years combined education/experience.
• Criminal background check required.
• Master’s/PhD or higher education teaching online experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and delivers curriculum and instruction to faculty on instructional technologies for face-to-face, hybrid, or online courses.
• Ensures alignment of instruction with delivery modality (face-to-face, hybrid, online).
• Provides coaching and feedback to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Delivers faculty training workshops on academic technologies as needed.
