Job summary

Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL seeks an Academic Technology Specialist to provide instruction, coaching, and customized support to faculty in academic technologies that promote student engagement, learning, accessibility and success. Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field with two years of relevant experience working with learning management systems and/or other software systems, or a combination of education and/or experience equal to six (6) years.
• Experience delivering training and professional development to faculty on instructional technologies and accessibility tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and delivers curriculum and instruction to faculty on instructional technologies for face-to-face, hybrid, or online delivery.
• Delivers faculty training workshops on academic technologies as needed and requested.
• Analyzes institutional needs related to instructional delivery and accessibility to identify professional development opportunities for faculty.
• Provides follow-up coaching and instructional feedback to improve student engagement and learning.
• Creates and manages training courses and LMS user accounts and enrollments; provides technical assistance on LMS systems.
