Job summary

American Indian College Fund seeks a Faculty Development Program Coordinator to support faculty across 34 tribal colleges. You will coordinate a two-day annual conference, manage fellowships, and oversee PD courses, while maintaining data systems and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal form with a range of audiences.
  • Strong skills in program and time management.
  • Strong proficiency in Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfort with learning new software.
  • Experience tracking budgets, conference logistics, or grant programs.
  • Experience planning events or meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics of an annual two-day academic conference, including registration, presenter travel, hotel setup, A/V and meals, onsite coordination, registrant questions, vendor payments, and travel reimbursements.
  • Handle administrative aspects of the faculty fellowship program, including developing contracts and disbursements, with program officer.
  • Manage registration and logistics for faculty professional development courses and workshops.
  • Contribute ideas for improving implementation and monitoring of programs and projects.
  • Be knowledgeable about PD needs of faculty and help develop programs and activities to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for programs (conference registration, fellowship disbursements).
  • Help collect evaluation data used to assess success and impact; maintain contact lists.
  • Gather and organize data for reports and budgets; monitor budgets and grant deliverables.
