Founded in 1989, the American Indian College Fund (College Fund) is a national organization that invests in Native students and in tribal colleges and universities (TCUs) so we can transform lives and communities. You’ll join two people on the Faculty Development team—the Sr. Program Officer—Faculty Development and the Program Officer—Faculty Development. Our team’s mission is to help tribal college faculty thrive and excel in their roles as educators, scholars, and leaders. We offer a variety of programs and resources for faculty, including an annual conference, writing retreats, graduate school fellowships, and professional development workshops. The College Fund is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Faculty Development Program Coordinator to support programs that serve faculty across 34 tribal colleges. This individual will serve as an important front-line contact for faculty and coordinate the day-to-day operations of several programs. The program coordinator will have polished communication skills and is comfortable providing support to faculty members.
The position requires excellent program and time management skills due to the large number of institutions we serve and the wide range of programs we offer. The program coordinator will cultivate relationships with more than 1,600 faculty across 34 institutions, College Fund staff, and TCU administrators and staff.
This position reports to the Sr. Program Officer—Faculty Development and is expected to travel 1-2 times per year. This position is ideally based in our Denver, Colorado office; however, remote candidates will be considered.
