Job summary

American Indian College Fund is seeking a Program Officer—Faculty Development to expand programming and support tribal college faculty across 34 TCUs. You will provide technical assistance, coaching, and strategic programming to meet faculty needs and funder requirements.

The role requires strong relationship-building, travel 3–4 times per year, and a commitment to transforming Native communities through higher education. Remote/hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with five+ years of professional experience.
  • At least two years in higher education working with faculty.
  • Ability to design, plan, implement programs and activities supporting faculty and goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and time management.
  • Experience in grant budgets, timelines, and deliverables is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the faculty development program across TCUs and partners.
  • Facilitate faculty communities of practice and mentor networks.
  • Design and run courses, workshops, and writing retreats for faculty.
  • Support conference planning, fellowship programs, and dissemination of outcomes.
  • Gather data, prepare reports, and assist with grant proposals.
  • Collaborate with administration to maintain records and navigate budgets.
