Job summary

The American Indian College Fund is seeking a dedicated Faculty Development Program Coordinator to support faculty across 34 tribal colleges. You will coordinate conferences, manage fellowships, and handle administrative tasks essential to program success.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities, plus experience with budgets and events. The role offers remote/Denver-based options and travel 1–2 times per year.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required.
  • At least two years of professional work experience.
  • Experience in developing systems to track budgets, conference logistics, grants, or similar programs for at least one year.
  • Experience planning events or meetings for at least one year.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
  • Strong program and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for annual academic conferences (registration, travel, venue, meals, on-site support).
  • Administer faculty fellowships and disbursements in collaboration with program officer.
  • Manage registration and logistics for PD courses and workshops.
  • Contribute ideas to improve program implementation and monitoring.
  • Support faculty development needs through program design and activities.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for programs, budgets, and reports.
