Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking a Manager of Faculty Development to lead the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) and advance instructional excellence across on-campus, hybrid, online, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.

You will oversee onboarding, coaching, professional development, and teaching support, while promoting evidence-based teaching, adult learning theory, and responsible AI use in teaching.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience managing faculty development programs and instructional coaching.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and adult learning theory.
• Curriculum design, instructional design, assessment, and outcomes alignment.
• Experience facilitating workshops and professional learning experiences.
• Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and academic leadership across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual faculty development plans aligned with Academic Affairs priorities, accreditation requirements, and student success initiatives.
• Manage daily operations of the CITL.
• Coordinate faculty development programs, workshops, learning communities across the University.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs leadership to support instructional excellence.
• Monitor program effectiveness and propose improvements.
