Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking a Manager of Faculty Development to oversee the daily operations of the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) and advance faculty development programs that improve instructional excellence and student success.

Work in partnership with Academic Affairs leadership to champion onboarding, instructional coaching, and professional development across on-campus, hybrid, online, and clinical learning environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education, Higher Education, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated experience managing faculty development programs, instructional coaching, professional development, or instructional support services.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and adult learning theory (andragogy).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of CITL and plan faculty development programs.
• Lead onboarding, coaching, and teaching support across modalities.
• Promote evidence-based teaching and adult learning theory in initiatives.
• Coordinate with Academic Affairs leadership to prioritize instructional excellence.
• Monitor program effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and Academic leadership on AI and ed-tech adoption.
