Job summary

Rise Modular in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Factory Support Manager to bridge Design Integration and Manufacturing, ensuring smooth transitions from design to production. You will lead the Factory Support team, manage shop drawing release, and drive continuous improvement through Rise Execution Standards (RES).

You will coordinate with Procurement, QA/QC, and Engineering to resolve issues, standardize methods, and improve quality and efficiency across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction, or design integration.
• Experience interpreting architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing technical documentation and document control.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and solve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design & Manufacturing Integration: liaison between Design Integration, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality.
• Review drawings and shop drawings for manufacturing readiness.
• Identify DFMA improvements to enhance manufacturability.
• Evaluate preassembly and prefabrication opportunities for efficiency.
• Coordinate mock-ups and install requirements before production begins.
• Lead the Factory Support team and provide technical guidance to production on drawing interpretation and installation issues.
