Job summary

Lake Air Products in Roseville, MN is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and improve production processes in our precision metal fabrication facilities. You will translate quotes, prints and instructions into routings, manufacturing data and shop-ready documentation while optimizing operations, tooling and manufacturability.

The role requires strong CAD familiarity, Lean/Six Sigma, GD&T, and hands-on shop-floor leadership to drive continuous improvement, quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related).
• 5–10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in regulated industries.
• Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading and tolerance stack-ups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize manufacturing processes across laser cutting, stamping, forming and assembly.
• Drive Lean initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Support NPI including tooling, fixturing and process development from concept to production.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain routers, work instructions, PFMEAs and control plans.
• Collaborate with Quality on CAPAs and root-cause analysis.
